RMS Jan 6 - 10 🥶 Cold temperatures all week. Dress warm. Make sure your child’s name is in their coat, hoodie, sweatshirt, hat, and gloves. 🚌 Bus riders should stay warm in the house or car until the bus arrives. 💙 We will keep the gates closed so students walk directly between buildings. 👕 Lost and Found - we have lots of items that have accumulated since October. All students looked before break and no one claimed most items. Parents please come look if your child is missing something. 👦🏻 Be sure to do a head check on your kids this evening.

RMS Parents 🎄 Christmas program begins TONIGHT at 6:30 PM. The entire program will last about 1hour. 🚪 Doors will open at 6:00 PM 👗 Several have asked about dress code - nothing specific. Dresses, nice jeans, slacks,nice sweats, nice shirt. I did ask your children to not wear shorts or hoodies. 🎁 Students will receive their gift at the end of the program. 😊 Looking forward to seeing you there!!!

RMS @ Tenkiller Invitational 🏀 RMS boys and girls are playing in finals tomorrow night. Girls @ 6:00, boys @ 7:00. 🚌 Bus will take players and cheerleaders needing a ride, to the game. They will leave school approx 3:30 🚗 If parents are bringing you to the game, girls be there at 5:00, boys at 6:00, cheerleaders by 5:30. 💲 Bring concession money 📣 All cheerleaders will need to be picked up at Tenkiller approx 7:45. ❓ If you have questions, call school tomorrow

RMS Parents 😊 At the board meeting this evening, they approved a change to our school calendar. The last day before the break will be Wednesday, December 18th. 😊 Break will be December 19 - Jan 5. We will return on Monday, January 6th. 🎄 School-wide Christmas Program will be Monday, December 16th at 6:30 PM in the gym.

RMS Staff, 🥰 Tomorrow is pay day. In this check, you will have a $200 stipend that the board approved last month. 🥰 Also, at the meeting tonight, the board approved amending our calendar. Our last day before break will be Wednesday, December 18th. (You can also thank Emily and Chas for thinking of it.) 💙 Please be sure to extend your gratitude to our board members. They are continually making decisions based upon what is best for everyone in our school. We are beyond fortunate to have Angelia, Shawn and Ava!!!

RMS 3rd and 4th 😊 Students will go to Walmart next week. 4th grade- Tuesday, Dec 10th 3rd grade - Wednesday, Dec 11th We will leave school at 12:30. You are welcome to meet us and shop with your child. 😊 8th grade will also go as shopping buddies for gift ideas and budgeting. 😊 Each student will be able to spend up to $35 (tax free). Due to auditing, students are not allowed to add money in order to purchase an item above their budget. 😊 You may want to "window shop" this weekend in the store or searching online for in store items. 😊 Examples of items not allowed..... gift cards, weapons (nerf gun is a toy and acceptable), energy drinks, perishables such as produce or deli items.

📺 Channel 6 News will be running a segment on Mrs. Ketcher (aka Elf on a cold gym roof) tomorrow morning between 6 and 6:50 am and again at 9:30 am!

RMS 5th grade 😊 They will go shopping at Walmart on Friday. We will leave school at 12:30. If you want to meet us there and help your child shop, you are more than welcome. You may want them to look online for items listed in store to get an idea what they want. 😊 They can spend up to $35.
