Please remember to check your children each week, or more often, for nits and lice. Remember that if you need to treat, you will have to treat heads, bedding and furniture. If you need information on practices for ridding nits and lice, you can check the Internet, check with the pharmacist, or contact the school for additional information.
If you find the presence of lice, you must check and comb your child's head daily for at least a week in order to ensure that no eggs are left behind. Please do not send your child to school if they have nits or lice. However, effective treatment should not interrupt attendance in school.
